The Three Crosses

Situated on a high point in the area known as San Juan, on the old path to San Martin de Trevejo and Villamiel, the tres cruces viewpoint is the “Calvary of Acebo”, the last station of the Way of the Cross. The rest of the stations of the cross also remain on the path, with their worked stone crosses, some of which are beautifully ornate.

Its location offers marvellous panoramic views, both of the village of Acebo and a 360º view of its surroundings, taking in the Lágina stream valley, Mount Jálama and the orange orchard valley in the area known as Los Baldíos. A peaceful spot, perfect for relaxation and contemplation.
