Palace Street Fountain

Calle del Palacio begins at the intersection of calle Cantón and calle Cura, where there is a beautifully finished, carved granite cross. The street follows the route of the old path to Villamiel and San Martin de Trevejo and many beautiful examples of traditional architecture can be found here.

At the side of the street a descending ramp gives access to the Fuente del Palacio which boasts two worked stone basins and three pipes. At some point in the last century it was moved from a nearby garden to its current location to give better accessibility.
